Burgundy-Franche-Comté. Endometriosis: "I want a diagnosis to receive proper treatment."

Complex to detect, endometriosis plunges many patients into a long medical journey. Saliva tests exist to detect the disease, but once the diagnosis is made, what do we do? This is the entire purpose of the EndoBest study, which will evaluate the impact of Endotest® on patient care. This protocol has been extended to 80 hospitals in France, including the Dijon-Bourgogne Private Hospital.

"I just want to know, finally... So that someone can tell me whether or not I have endometriosis and treat me properly." Charlène Guillier, a 26-year-old from Dijon, is emotional as she shares her medical journey, which has been marked by more questions than answers. The common thread has been suffering and wandering. We meet her on Monday, June 23, at the Dijon-Bourgogne Private Hospital in Valmy, where she has come to participate in the EndoBest study. Her goal? "Thanks to the new saliva test, to finally have an endometriosis diagnosis or definitively rule out this pathology so that I can look elsewhere for the causes of my pain."
